The Hall
A great space in a lovely setting.
The hall will accommodate approximately 100 people seated in a cabaret style and approximately 120 people in theatre style.
The Space
The hall itself comprises a main hall of approx 135 sq metres (badminton court size) with a stage at one end. It is accessible by wheelchair users.
In the foyer there are ladies and gents toilets and an accessible toilet. There is a kitchen with two sinks, fridge, domestic cooker and a microwave. Upstairs, there is a separate room (the committee room) of some 25 sq metres.
Setting
The hall is located at the end of Hall Drive on the village recreation ground (the “rec”). The rec has a large grassed area used for cricket and football and also has a children’s play area and an outside adult gym.
There is a tarmac car park for approximately 20 cars. Please note there is a height restricter.
Facilities
- There are ample folding tables and padded chairs for use by hall users.
- The kitchen has a fridge, two sinks, a domestic cooker and a microwave. There is limited cooking and catering equipment but there is some crockery and cutlery.
- There is flexible lighting with task lighting and / or dimmable downlighters
- Wifi is now available in the hall
Licensing
The hall is licensed for public performance of music, and dance. We do not hold a drinks’ licence for the sale of alcohol (you do not need a licence to consume alcohol), but a temporary event notice (TEN) license can be applied for through HBBC.
